The mission of the Adult Education Association of Utah, as the primary advocate for lifelong learning in Utah, is to meet the diverse needs of all Utahns by providing and supporting quality educational opportunities.

What is adult education?
Adult education provides learning opportunities for individuals ages 16 and older who want to build new skills, earn credentials, advance their careers, support their families, and pursue the goals that matter most to them. Across Utah, adult education includes English language learning, adult basic education, high school completion, corrections education, citizenship preparation, workforce training, digital literacy, and a wide range of lifelong learning opportunities. Every learner brings unique experiences and goals, and adult education helps connect those strengths to new opportunities.
